Movement & Rehearsal Director

Sharia Johnson is a London-based Movement and Rehearsal Director working across global commercial campaigns, fashion film, music and live performance. She performed with Company Wayne McGregor, Rambert, Michael Clark Company and Punchdrunk — a foundation that informs her precise, performance-driven approach to movement for screen and stage.

Sharia builds a clear, intentional movement language that serves the frame and the wider creative vision. Her work ranges from intimate one-to-one model shoots and non-dancer coaching to directing large-scale ensemble and rave scenes involving 200–300+ performers. She brings structure, continuity and calm authority to high-pressure, multi-camera environments, ensuring the integrity of the physical language is maintained at every scale of production.

Her credits include Boots Christmas Film (Dom & Nic), H&M (Albert Moya), Adidas (Leigh Powis), Uniqlo (Marvin Leuvrey), Coinbase (Steve Rogers), John Lewis (Kim Gehrig), Robyn — “Talk To Me” (Casper Sejersen), and live works ‘A Wound With Teeth’ and ‘Phantom’ with Holly Blakey, alongside collaborations with Miele x Wayne McGregor, AGL x Nowness, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy and SHOWstudio (Nick Knight).
