Movement & Rehearsal Director

Sharia is a London-based Movement and Rehearsal Director working across global commercial campaigns, fashion film, music and live performance. She performed with Company Wayne McGregor, Rambert, Michael Clark Company and Punchdrunk — a foundation that informs her precise, performance-driven approach to movement for screen and stage.

She has collaborated with directors including Baz Luhrmann, Steve Rogers, Kim Gehrig and Danny Boyle, alongside choreographers Holly Blakey, Ryan Heffington and Harry Price. Her film credits include Sense and Sensibility (2026) directed by Georgia Oakley, alongside music collaborations with Robyn and John Newman and commercial work for H&M, COACH, Boots, adidas, Uniqlo and John Lewis.

Sharia builds a clear, intentional movement language that serves the frame and the wider creative vision. Her work ranges from intimate one-to-one model shoots and non-dancer coaching to directing large-scale ensemble and rave scenes involving 200–300+ performers. She brings structure, continuity and calm authority to high-pressure, multi-camera environments, ensuring the integrity of the physical language is maintained at every scale of production. Her work with Holly Blakey as Rehearsal Director, supporting and refining Holly’s work is a collaboration grounded in trust with a shared sensitivity to how movement carries meaning far beyond words.
